Meet Courtney Dodge,

the Creator of Mantra Mama

In June 2024, I graduated from Maharishi International University with a BA in Ayurvedic Health Counseling and a Specialization in Yoga, which includes an RYT 200 instructor certification with Yoga Alliance. I am using this with the rest of my education, which includes a BSc in Animal Science, Integrative Holistic Health Coaching Certification, and Reiki Master training to work with others seeking to manage their health concerns.

Using knowledge from my double major background in anatomy, biology, and physics, I can use Yoga, Ayurvedic Medicine, and energy healing to identify and remove obstacles that are blocking people from experiencing whole physical and mental health. In exchange, people create space within themselves physically, mentally, and emotionally for the creative intelligence of pure consciousness to work freely.

I was not always the beacon of health like I am now. I suffered physically, mentally, and emotionally relentlessly, getting tossed around in the sea of life. I finally created sustained health and happiness to share with others using my current practices. Along my journey, I gained credible knowledge from many teachers on how to heal myself, allowing me to guide others to the source of their individual fulfillment.

  • Having worked over 15 years in the food and beverage industry I now focus my effort toward vegetarian delights from around the world. I cook for wellness retreats and festivals. My favorite thing to make is my vegan desserts. I also teach others how to cook healthy, managing food schedules and diets. I believe that true food is medicine and it starts with the source. I am no stranger to working on farms and growing the food we we eat!

  • As a creative expression of my self I weave beautiful intricate designs into jewelry and hanging art. I commonly use stones, crystals, plants, and other natural materials to create my pieces for others to enjoy on their person or in their home/garden. The idea is to use these designs to bring peace and harmony to the individual. I also make Malas for Japa mediation out of sustainable fairtrade products that support the communities that make them.

  • In high school I was on the color guard and spun my way from the football field to the festival field. I preform with LED and fire props. Flowing with movement to music for others to watch and enjoy is a fond pastime. Flow art movement creates Prana and presence like no other art form. I plan to continue learning new movements with new props in order to take my performance art to a professional level. Yoga teacher by day and fire dancer by night. See you at the next festival!

  • I grew up riding and showing horses. I was in pony club and rode Hunter jumpers and did show jumping as a junior rider. I still ride with the local Fox Hunting club on occasion. I no longer work full time as an equine professional but have spent many days and nights on at the barn riding, training, cleaning, and teaching others about horses. I plan to extend my health services to the surroundign equine community that I am aquatinted with. Barn Yoga anyone? Horse Reiki? I am your woman!
