Gentle Classical Yoga for All Levels. This is an introductory class for Maharishi's first set of Asanas or poses, using the Hart Approach to Yoga (R). These steady and pleasant Asanas stretch the body with ease and maximum stability to create flexibility in the muscles and joints while promoting lymph and blood circulation. Maharishi’s Yogacharyas (Yoga masters) chose these particular Asanas because they also regulate the nervous system while relaxing the body simultaneously. This purifies the entire system, increasing vitality and quality of health on many levels, including sleep, hormone regulation, organ function, chronic pain, anxiety, and much more. It is the perfect way to rejuvenate the body and mind, establishing the foundation for daily life through expanded states of awareness. There will be some props available if you are new to Yoga and are not sure what you need.
Your instructor will help you find the correct alignment for your individual body using props and verbal cueing.
